Technical Account Manager

About the position

This is a great opportunity if you thrive to build and maintain strong relationships to our international clients. Our clients are banks all over the world with the mission to reach the highest hit-ratios for more FX deals. With our systems the speed is achieved with supreme hardware, top tier network access and integration of real-time technology into one core system.

You will be part of the account management team working closely with product specialists, sales and developers, but most importantly you will be key in building long term relationship with our clients. At the same time you will be responsible for new clients' implementation projects, training and customization requests for the product.

Responsibilities and most important tasks

  • Support and strengthen the clients' businesses through training and education of clients
  • Project manage implementation projects for new clients
  • Manage customization requests and perform required business analysis
  • Perform frequent account visits to enhance relationship and set strategic goals with the client
  • Develop and execute account plans and realize identified cross-selling opportunities
  • Follow, maintain and improve standard procedures of the account management function

Knowledge required

  • Experience from financial markets environment
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, business workflows and financial institutions’ software environments
  • B.Sc. in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience from software development or technical support of complex systems with any consultancy or project management experience desirable
  • Minimum 3 years experience from sales or client support, including both written and verbal customer communications
  • Experience in business analysis and familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle, particularly in relation to client facing software development

Skills required

  • Ability to quickly gain a holistic and detailed understanding of the client, their products and their business
  • Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
  • High level of analytical ability and logical approach to troubleshooting
  • High level of self motivation and initiative with ability to work independently
  • Team player and be willing to take direction
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of tools is essential, especially Word, Excel and Visio
  • Strong organization skills; able to prioritize effectively both internal and external clients and drive projects through to completion

  • Experience from working with JIRA, service desk software and CRM tools
